Now that the cat's out of the bag and Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale have confirmed that they are a couple, people have clearly come through with all kinds of things to say especially considering the couple's 20-year age gap.
Instead of sending out a tweet or replying to any trolls online, Pete has used his position at Saturday Night Live as a way to discuss his relationship head-on. In the clip below, Pete explains how "apparently people have a crazy fascination" with his girlfriend's age but to him and Kate, it's not a big deal at all.
“It doesn’t really bother us, but then again I’m new to this,” he said. “So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and whoever the president of France is."
The Set It Up actor continued to list names of celebrities who are in relationships with people not close to their age. “Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer,” he added.
