Pete Davidson dealt with a lot over the past year, but the rapper capped the year off with a stand-up performance in Boston. The comedian touched on his highly-publicized break-up with Ariana Grande, Saturday Night Live and more. However, one bit that's been making rounds online is his bit on fellow comedian Louis C.K. who was accused of sexual misconduct in 2018.
Davidson isn't a big fan of Louis C.K., but it doesn't entirely seem to do with the allegations of sexual misconduct. Rather, it seems to stem from an encounter with Louis C.K. on the set of Saturday Night Live. Davidson kicked off the bit by joking about getting a tattoo of Louis C.K.
“I got a Harry Potter tattoo. Then the next day Alan Rickman, the guy who played Snape, died and I was like, oh, what a weird coincidence,” he said. “Then I got a Willy Wonka tattoo. Next day—Gene Wilder dies. Now I’m like, alright, that’s a coincidence, that’s weird. So I’m thinking of getting a tattoo of Louis C.K., what do you guys think?”
“That joke used to be about Aziz Ansari, but Aziz has been nice to me recently," he added.
He continued to go in on Louis C.K. and suggested the shamed comedian attempted to get him fired from SNL, claiming Louis, “told all the producers in front of me that all this kid does is smoke weed and he’s gonna smoke his career away." He continued to say that Louis C.K then told SNL executive producer that Davidson “smokes so much weed that it makes people uncomfortable.”
Ultimately, Davidson had the last laugh. "Then five years later this motherfucker’s been locking doors and jerking off in front of people,” he said as the punchline.
