Papoose' "Black Love" has been given the remix treatment by the best possible collaborator, Remy Ma, who on top of being an incredible rapper is also Pap's wife. The two get romantic over a sample of Ronnie Foster's "Mystic Brew," which you may recall from songs by A TRibe Called Quest, J. Cole, and Freeway. Pap and Remy manage to do something new with the familiar loop, turning it into a celebration of their relationship, which survived Remy's 6-year prison sentence, and is as strong as ever.
Remy is currently working on a joint album with her Terror Squad collaborator Fat Joe called Platas o Plomo. Look out for that very soon.
