Ralo has weathered multiple stints in prison and worse in the course of life spent in Atlanta's The Bluff, one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in the nation. Now associated with Black Migo Game and Future's Freeband Gang, he has become an artist to watch on the thriving Atlanta scene. He spoke with HNHH recently on his rough upbringing and his burgeoning rap career.

Ralo started selling bootleg CDs (2 for 5) before taking up drug trafficking at the age of 12 and rapping soon thereafter. Both of his parents were drug dealers. He knew Young Scooter growing up and often slept at his house while he was homeless. Scooter was the one who eventually connected him with Future. "Can't Lie" with Future was "damn near the first song I ever made," Ralo said.
