Dreamville's Omen dropped off his debut album, Elephant Ear, today, and along with that, he shared a video for the project's "LoveDrug," a track that features CJ Hamilton.
This video's a little jarring at first, consisting of a series of found footage before Omen takes the screen to begin his verse. All of this speaks to the song's conflicted position on social media and screen-based technology in general, which informs the track's larger narrative of a relationship seen through the lens of IG likes and Twitter follows. A pretty interesting concept that makes for a good video.
