Sneakerheads in the U.S. will have to wait a little longer for the Off-White x AJ1 "UNC."
Virgil Abloh's Off-White continues to churn out new Nike collabs, as the two brands ride the wave of their highly coveted "The Ten" collection that released not long ago. Once again, the Air Jordan 1 will be featured as part of the upcoming collection.
The "Power Blue" aka "UNC" Off-White x Air Jordan 1 features the same color blocking as the "Chicago" colorway that dropped in 2017, but the Bulls' red has been swapped out for Tar Heels' powder blue. The UNC-inspired kicks include all the familiar attributes of a Virgil Abloh AJ1, most notably the "AIR" text on the midsole and orange stitching.
The special edition kicks are reportedly set to release in the United State on June 9th, but launch pages for Nike in other countries such as Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Australia have the "Powder Blue" Off-White 1s slated for a May 30th release. The shoes will retail for $190.
