While Pro Era is largely associated with the All Amerikkkan Bada$$ Joey Bada$$, Nyck Caution and Kirk Knight have been quietly emerging as the collective's next up. Together, the hilarious duo formed like Voltron into Nyck @ Knight, dropping their underrated eponymous debut album last July. The chemistry is real, and both come through with consistent lyricism with Kirk cooking up bangers behind the boards. In fact, they might very well be some of the most lyrical rappers in this new generation of emcees.

With that in mind, it's no surprise to see the duo tackling Sway's legendary "Five Fingers Of Death." It's somewhat of a Kirk Knight edition, with five back to back original joints from Knight, and both rappers take turns spitting fire. Nyck's first verse is particularly insane, which is no surprise, considering he had to stand up for it.

Check out the freestyle below, and if you're intrigued by the duo, you might as well catch the entire interview. It's lengthy, but gives a solid insight into Nyck @ Knight's musical process. For all you producers out there, Kirk Knight breaks down some of the equipment and DAWs in his workflow, including FL Studio, Audacity, and Ableton (his current favorite). Check it out, and don't sleep on Nyck @ Knight.

If you're in the New York area, be sure to catch Nyck @ Knight perform at our Fire Emoji Live event on August 15th.
