Noelz Vedere is a new voice out of Chicago we've been tuned into recently. The rapper has been exploring industrial-informed synth textures and vocal distortion, and his new record, "On Purpose," continues down that lane. As experimental as things get, they're never unstructured, and Noelz finds a catchy melodic pocket that he sticks to throughout and comes out with a memorable refrain. After that, a lead guitar enters and jams out the final third of the track, recalling some of Mike Dean's shining axe moments with Kanye. We're just about ready to hear a new project with Noelz, we'll keep you updated on when that will be arriving.
