It’s been a hot minute since we last heard anything new from Nipsey Hussle. In fact, the last time the Crenshaw rapper impacted our site was back in March when a song called “Grindin” surfaced online from the Ghost Recon: Wildlands soundtrack. But having spent the past few months working on his new album & staying out of the headlines, that all changed last week when Nipsey made some noise for calling out radio stations for not playing his song “FDT” with YG. "Y'all n****s supposed to stand up. F**k this n****. Play that record. Make that motherf**ker the anthem,” he said in a statement on IG.
Now fast forward a few days later, and the official version of March’s previously-leaked record “Grindin” has resurfaced online as “Grindin All My Life.” This too will see life on a new movie’s soundtrack, that being’s True To The Game, which has already spawned a new track from Meek Mill last week in “Team Rich.”
Bringing the title to life, Neighborhood Nip delivers a new introspective street cut that finds him reflecting on his come up & rapping about grinding his whole life. “Im married to this game, thats who I made my wife/ Should I die alone I told that bitch probably right/ One thing thats for sure, not a stranger to this life,” Nipsey spits.
Take a listen and let us know what you think in the comments (below). New album in the works and the way.
In other related news, the soundtrack to True ToThe Game will also feature new music from the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Cardi B, Migos, 21 Savage, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Uzi Vert, Jeremih, Keyshia Cole, K. Michelle and more. So stayed more heat is definitely on the way.
