It only took an hour for all of the free tickets to Nipsey Hussle's memorial to be claimed, but some who were able to reserve tickets are using the opportunity to turn a profit. The memorial for the slain rapper will be held this Thursday at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles and it's been reported that his family wanted to hold the service at the 21,000 capacity venue to share the moment with the many friends and fans who desired to mourn together.

The LAist is reporting that just an hour and a half after the seats were claimed, scalpers were on Craigslist selling the tickets and prices were listed as high as $1,000. However, TMZ says that AXS is clamping down on scalpers by distributing the tickets through their mobile app and by making them are non-transferrable.

The memorial service is set to start at 10:00 a.m. but doors will reportedly open two hours prior. Cell phones and recording devices are not permitted. All parties must enter together and cannot meet up. The tickets were distributed to California residents only and groups were set at a maximum of four people. As soon as the service is over, Nipsey Hussle's casket will be driven through Los Angeles in a 25-mile procession.
