Nintendo At E3: "Fortnite" Hits Switch Today, "Super Smash Bros. Infinite" Drops Dec.

After leaks pretty much confirmed that Fortnite would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, the video game company finally revealed their plans for the world's most popular video game today. E3 is currently taking place in Los Angeles. For those who may not know, E3 is the biggest video game expo in the US. Every video game developer and publisher shows up at E3 to display their latest work, and even PlayStation, Microsoft, and Nintendo have presentations to outshine each other. 

During Nintendo's live stream presentation, they revealed that Fortnite would be making its way onto their Switch system today. The game should be available for free download right now at Nintendo's eShop. Fortnite for the Switch will have cross-platform play with the Xbox One, PC, Mac, and mobile users. Nintendo also showcased gameplay for a new Super Smash Bros. game entitled Ultimate that will be dropping this holiday season. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature every single playable character that has ever been introduced in previous games, along with a few new characters. Metroid villain Ridley was used during a live demo, which also showcased new moves and levels.

Hollow Knight is available now.
Octopath Traveler, an RPG by Square Enix, arrives July 13,
Minecraft is getting its physical release June 21.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle's Donkey Kong Adventure drops June 26.
Overcooked 2 drops August 7.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is getting an expansion on September 14.
Super Mario Party hits the Switch on October 5.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas arrives October 16.
Just Dance 2019 arrives on October 23.
Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eeevee, which are two new RPG games, will be released on November 16. 
Arena of Valor is expected sometime during Fall 2018.
Pixark is also expected to drop sometime this Fall.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is slated for a Spring 2019 release.
Daemon X Machina, a  flying-mech title, will be released in 2019.
Killer Queen Black, a multi-player arcade style game, was announced with no release date.
