The Nike Vapormax is one of those sneakers that you really have to try on to see and feel what all of the hype is about. When the shoe was first unveiled, sneakerheads were scratching their heads at the air pod outsole unit that took up the majority of the shoe. It was off-putting at first but ultimately proved to be comfortable and a worthy opponent of the Adidas UltraBoost. Since the release of the original Vapormax, Nike has continued to develop new silhouettes with the air pod unit, with the latest model, the Gliese, coming soon.

This latest version of the Nike Vapormax takes a more "high-fashion" chunky approach. The upper appears to be a flyknit zebra print, with gold accents overlayed on top in a complex tooling. Meanwhile, the midsole is white, with a clear air pod unit on the bottom.
