Nike Releasing "Black Mamba" AF1 In Honor Of Kobe's Retirement Ceremony

In honor of Kobe Bryant's jersey retirement ceremony tonight at Staples Center, Nike is releasing a handful of exclusive gear including a special edition jersey pack, t-shirts, and a "Black Mamba" Air Force 1 Low.

Nike officially revealed the kicks today, which will go on sale in limited quantities once the Warriors vs. Lakers game tips off tonight.

The "Black Mamba" Nike Air Force 1 Low iD features a special snake skin-like Black Mamba upper, a drop shadow swoosh, both of his numbers on the heel tab and eight stars on each tongue in honor of the Lakers' total title tally.

Tonight’s Lakers vs. Warriors game is scheduled to tip off at approximately 10:30pm ET, which is when the shoes will go live via Nike.com. Additionally, Nike will be releasing commemorative t-shirts at 8:24pm PT, which will also be available via Nike.com and select retailers in the Los Angeles area.
