One of the more interesting Air Jordan 1 releases of 2018 was the Nigel Sylvester version which dressed the shoe in a yellowish-tan, with hits of red, as well as some pre-made scuffs. They were an extremely popular release that sold out pretty well instantly. It was easily one of the best Jordan Brand releases of the year and continues to have sneakerheads fawning over them on the resale market. Now, the Shoe Surgeon, whose real name is Dominic Ciambrone, is giving us his own premium take on the sneaker which is set to release on February 9th.

As shown on Ciambrone's Instagram page, the shoes will feature python skin, as well as a suede lining and some wax laces. Ciambrone spoke to Sole Collector about the shoe and said: "I thought Nigel [Sylvester] had the best Air Jordan 1 of 2018. Just from riding BMX, Nigel has paved his path of opportunity, from creating amazing videos, to getting his own collabs with Nike, to sitting front row at the fashion shows. These are my nod to him and all his success. This shoe entails a lot of manual labor, but it's worth every bit."
