Nicki Minaj’s Queen studio album has reeled in its first official certification as it earns as Gold plague from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Released on august 10th, the effort took nearly a month to push past the 500,000 benchmark to reach Gold status on Thursday (Sept. 6th). While the entire album now earns the distinction, its two lead singles “Chun –Li” and “Barbie Tingz” both went Platinum and Gold, respectively, prior to this news.

Currently Queen hosts the No.7 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums chart after debuting at No. 2 behind Travis Scott’s AstroWorld in its first week. Even if you haven’t listened to the album in whole, there’ been no avoiding the conversation that trails it with Nicki coming after Trav when Queen failed to hit No. 1, claiming that the Houston native used merchandise to boost his sales.

In conjunction with the release, Nicki also formally launched her Queen Radio podcast on Apple music’s Beats 1. Since its arrival, it has been the primary platform on which Nicki has aired out many of her transgressions. While she has always been a particularly vocal public figure, her newest show amplifies that notion, and seemingly bars all inhibition for the Queens-bred emcee.
