Nicki Minaj was scheduled to perform at the Wireless Festival's 7PM slot Sunday night, but due to delays with her flight, she missed her allotted timeframe entirely and had to barge David Guetta's set. Unfortunately, she was only able to perform a condensed version of her planned setlist, cramming her hits into a 30-minute medley.
Many fans angrily left early after waiting all day for Minaj, but those who stuck around seemed to be happy with what they got.
Minaj made sure to address the less-than-ideal situation, addressing the audience. “Our plane couldn’t get out because of the weather,” she said. “But I want to tell you how much I fuckin’ love ya’ll. I want to tell you how much I appreciate you guys for showing Young Money love from day one.”
