Nicki Minaj opens up about her past relationships.

With Nicki Minaj's new album, Queen, she's putting her independence on the front lines. The song's she's released thus far, "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Tingz," both speak to her unwillingness to be defined by others in her life, especially men. Having already proved the public's obsession with her relationships through a stunt with Eminem, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter today to open up about her real relationships, and to spit game on how to be a queen like her.

"#Queen, know your worth. I’ve been proposed to 3 times; asked by 4 boyfriends to have their child," Nicki wrote yesterday. "Being emotionally, mentally, or physically abused just to crack a fake smile on the gram & show off a ring is not happiness. Being cheated on, humiliated, belittled... for the gram?"

She goes on to tell her queens to assert themselves away from their men, and that they were queens before having been with him, and they will be after. Men aren't entitled to their queen's attention. She also doesn't stand for men mistreating their queens, just because they're famous. She also casually drops the new release date for her album, August 10th, 2018.

Label mate Mack Maine also got in on the action, saying that, "Nicki bout to start a revolution! Breakup season is upon us fellas! Good thing that sh*t don’t apply to me but it’s over for 80% of y’all!"

He may be right, because come August, it will officially be Queen Season. Check out all of Nicki's words to her fans down below.
