Nicki Minaj has been on a roll in 2020 and it all started with her feature on Doja Cat's "Say So." Just a couple of months ago, the song ended up going number one on the Billboard charts, which was ultimately Nicki's first time doing so. Today, Nicki was able to get the number one spot again, this time alongside 6ix9ine with the track "TROLLZ."

What makes this accomplishment truly unique for Minaj, is the fact that she was able to do something that hasn't been done since 1998. According to Chart Data on Twitter, she is the first female rapper to debut at the top of the charts in the 21st century. Lauryn Hill was the last female rapper to do this but as we stated, it only occurred back in 1998.

Clearly, Nicki is having herself a great start to 2020 and now might be a better time than ever to drop some music of her own and even maybe an album. She has been a dominant force on all of her features, as of late, and fans are always excited to see what she has to say.

As for 6ix9ine, this is his first number one hit, and the second song of the year to chart in the top 5.
