Nicki Minaj spent her Saturday night the same way many of her fans did -- getting high and watching her new video for "Chun-Li" on repeat. "Last night after my shoot I got high & watched the Chun-Li video about 48 times," she wrote on Twitter Sunday. According to the Young Money rapper, it was an eye-opening experience. "I started seein shit I never saw b4," she revealed. Edit: Nicki has since deleted the tweets.

Fans responded with the tweet with confirmation that they've been streaming the video just as frequently, though not necessarily under the influence.

The repeat watches appear to be paying off. As of Saturday, "Chun-Li" video was the #1 trending video on YouTube and Apple Music as Nicki documented on Instagram. Her clip for "Barbie Tingz," released simultaneously, was not far behind. the "Chun-Li" video was directed by Steven Klein, who previously worked on Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" and Kanye West's "Wolves."
The two singles come in advance of Minaj's highly-anticipated fourth studio album. The follow-up to 2014's The Pinkprint is still without a title, though she did troll her fans with a fake title earlier this weekend.
