After sharing a nice moment with old Twitter sparring partner Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj got into it with Miley Cyrus during her acceptance speeches at the VMAs.
Minaj seemed thrilled when her "Anaconda" won Best Hip Hop Video, dancing from her seat all the way to the stage stage and giving a shoutout to her pastor and her fans. “I wanna thank my beautiful fans,” she said. “I love you so much. You guys are so epic and I hope you follow your dreams.”
But then she turned to Cyrus, who was all ready to segue into the next segment. “Back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?”
Cyrus had called Nicki "not too kind in a recent New York Times interview, and she was quick to blame it on the media. "We’re all in this industry, we’ve both done interview, we know how they manipulate shit.”
