Nicki Minaj is following through on her promise to make it up to her fans for missing her performance at Hot 97 Summer Jam.
The YMCMB star initially pulled out of Summer Jam because of choice words from radio personality Peter Rosenberg. Now Minaj has announced a new show, which will take place August 14th.
The event is sponsored by Pepsi, with whom Minaj has an endorsement deal. The show will be at a secret location, but the rumour is it's taking place at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom.
Ms. Minaj tweeted about the event, saying, " Hey barbz, I’m happy to announce my #Free #pinkfridaytour show in #NewYork is going down on aug14th. (This is in ADDITION 2 the Today show)."
Tickets are going to be given away by radio stations, Z100, WBLI, 92.3, Power 105.1, and surprisingly, Hot 97.
