It's been a few weeks since Nicki Minaj dropped off her catchy, Ariana Grande-assisted single “Bed,” from her forthcoming Queen album, but since then she’s been teasing the hell out of its sexy, mermaid-theme video on social media, sharing various BTS clips & photos in the process. But now after weeks of promotion and a little spat with Azealia Banks earlier this week, the official video has arrived tonight just in time for the weekend.
Directed by Hype Williams, the video opens with Nicki playing a mermaid on the ocean shore, while flaunting her thick curves and green hair as the sun sets behind her. Then Ariana and her take things to the bedroom and pool to continue to show off their juicy assets, before later sharing strawberries with NY Giants players Odell Beckham Jr. and Brad Wing as their on-screen love interest on the beach.
Apparently this is just the first of two videos for “Bed.” Nicki said she plans to drop the second version in the next week or so.
