Back in June, Nicki Minaj revealed on Instagram that she had gotten some ink done by tattoo artist Ryan Henry of Black Ink Crew: Chicago, but what we didn’t know is that Nicki was filming to be in one of the show's episodes. On Wednesday night, Nicki served as a special guest in the latest episode of VH1’s hit show.
In the clip, Ryan visits Nicki at her studio to tattoo the word “Barbie” in pink lettering on her left wrist, while of course her song “Barbie Tingz” plays in the background. It’s pretty clear that Nicki felt uncomfortable pain-wise when receiving the tattoo as she was squirming in her chair and making cringe faces at times, however she took it like a true "Queen" when all said and done.
Speaking of Queen, it's looking like Nicki's album is once again being pushed back a week in order to get a particular sample cleared for it. Nicki says the record samples Tracy Chapman and features one of the biggest rappers of all time, so I guess the one week setback could be well worth the wait.
