It has been quite a run for the Nike Air Max 97 over the last two years, as Nike's celebration of the iconic sneaker's 20th anniversary has carried over into 2018 and still going strong. In fact, there have been so many colorways released that Nike is now turning to the actual cardboard shipping boxes as inspiration for new designs.

The fall-friendly Air Max 97s feature a combination of brown tones on the upper accompanied by white trim and a white and silver striped pull tab that runs down the tongue, which serves as nod to the two-tone tape Nike packages their online orders with. Paying homage to Nike's main shipping facility in Memphis, Tennessee, the newly unveiled Air Max 97s are also equipped with special edition insoles, as well as barcodes that appear on the translucent sole and down the heel tab of the right sneaker.

Nike has not yet announced release details, but official images have already arrived which leads us to believe a release isn't far off.
