Famous movie producer Doug McHenry and his family are facing the tragic loss of his daughter. As reported by Extra, Lyric McHenry was found slumped over in Highbridge, Bronx, at around 5 AM on Tuesday. Doug McHenry, who produced classics such as New Jack City, House Party 2 3, and A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, also lost a grandchild when his daughter passed away as Lyric was five months pregnant.

An autopsy is being conducted to find the cause of death. McHenry, who just turned 26 on August 6, was posting to her social media accounts while she had the night out at the Frederick Hotel, the SoHo Grand, and Dream Downtown in lower Manhattan. Her last post was around 1 AM.

Her mother, Jennifer, recently posted a birthday message to her daughter on Instagram. "Happy 26 years my beautiful princess Lyric Leigh," she wrote. "I love you more than any words or gifts can express! You have been one of the greatest gifts in my life and Our journey together as mommy and daughter has fulfilled and blessed me abundantly! I adore you beautiful brilliant 'pinta'" Peace and blessings go out to the entire McHenry family.
