On Monday, December 18th, during halftime of Warriors vs. Lakers at Staples Center, Kobe Bryant's #8 and #24 jerseys will officially be retired. In honor of the jersey retirement ceremony, Nike recently revealed a special edition jersey pack, featuring both of Kobe's jerseys, which will retail for $524.08.

But that's not the only commemorative item that's going up for grabs, nor is it the most expensive.

New Era has just unveiled a black Kobe Bryant snapback, of which only eight were produced. The price? $8,024 - a nod to both of Kobe's jersey numbers.

The snapback features an 18 karat gold pin and gold embroidery of Kobe’s jersey retirement logo, as well as a black ostrich visor. Only eight hats will be available for sale exclusively at the Lakers Team Shop in El Segundo, TEAM LA at STAPLES Center, the New Era D-Lab, and lakersstore.com.

Kobe's jersey retirement ceremony is scheduled to take place at halftime during the Lakers game against the Golden State Warriors next Monday, which will make Kobe the 10th player in Lakers history to have his jersey retired.

The Black Mamba ranks as the Lakers all-time leader in regular season games played (1,346), points (33,643), three-pointers made (1,827), steals (1,944) and free throws made (8,378). He also owns the franchise playoff records for games played (220), points (5,640), three-pointers made (292) and free throws made (1,320), according to NBA.com.
