Drake has some new fire on the way.
Recent Drake news would've led most people to believe that the famed Canadian rapper was taking some time off from the music-making process and focusing on other showbiz endeavors, such as movie and TV projects. However, fans of Mr. Graham's may have thought differently last night (November 11th), when a supposed snippet from one of his unreleased songs hit social media.
New Drake snippet 🔥👀 pic.twitter.com/ICLEsBjOFR— Drake Direct Media (@DrakeDirectM_) November 12, 2017
The clip, which presents about 10 seconds of an alleged upcoming Drake track, made its way around both Twitter and Instagram in the late night hours of Saturday night. There's really only a couple of bars that are discernible because of the audio's distortion, but by the sound of things, Drizzy's got some straight heat coming for his supporters on this song. The trap-style beat goes hard, with the rapper's flow melding effortlessly with the instrumental that goes underneath it. There's no telling if there is a feature on the track or even what the finished product will officially sound like but, going on first impressions, this feels like a positive move for Drake and his music.
The Internet was feeling a certain kind of way about the preview snippet as well, with many Drizzy fans taking the time to voice their reactions to the clip online. It's safe to say that the vast majority of those who support his music can't wait for this one to drop. Check out a sampling of the Twitter reaction below.

As was stated before, based on a recent interview that Drake completed with The Hollywood Reporter, it sounds like his focus will actually be taken away from the music game for the next little while. In addition to helping revive the cult classic TV series Top Boy, Drizzy will have a hand in producing some yet-to-be-finalized content for the likes of A24 and Apple, among others. He also seems a little preoccupied with some extravagant shopping excursions, buying up luxury handbags for the wife he doesn't yet have and trying hard not to give in to the temptation to drop $160,000 on a first-edition Harry Potter book. Hopefully, Drake can take some time out of his busy schedule and drop that new fire for his fans.
