There was no bigger sneaker trend in 2018 than the dad shoe. It feels like pretty well every single footwear company was coming out with their own version of a chunky runner. It was almost impossible to go a day without seeing someone wearing a shoe that could be considered "dad couture."

Now New Balance is releasing a brand new silhouette, the WX608 RW1 which takes the dad shoe aesthetic to a whole new level.

Like most chunky dad sneakers on the market, these feature a massive midsole and an upper that features layers of leather material going in different directions. New Balance is releasing two colorways of the shoe in Beige/White and Grey/White.

These kicks use an EVA midsole as well as New Balance’s ABZORB cushioning on the heel. According to Hypebeast, these are already available for purchase at overseas retailers such as Allike for $110 USD.

Are you feeling these or are you done with the dad shoe trend?
