Today, N.E.R.D. returned from a lengthy hiatus to drop off their first album in seven years, No_One Ever Really Dies. With features from Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Future, Gucci Mane, and Wale, it seemed as if it would be a triumphant return to form for Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Hayley. However, first impressions are split down the middle, with some fans put off by the experimental song structures and free-form melodies. However, N.E.R.D. deserve some respect in the game, and while theirlatest  vision may be jarring to some, it's still a journey worth taking.

What about the Gucci Mane and Wale collaboration, "Voila?" It's certainly an interesting one, and relatively tame for Guwop standards. In fact, The Human Glacier is largely utilized as a supporting player, holding it down for the chorus. Wale, on the other hand, closes out the track with a laid back verse. Were ya'll feeling this track, and No_One Ever Really Dies in general?

Quotable Lyrics

I should cover The Source, number 5 mics
Bitch, I came from nothing, gained it off the hustle
They say money talk, well can I pay you for a muzzle?
I don't mean to ruffle
