In 2012, Nike released a special edition "Galaxy" Pack in celebration of the NBA's All-Star festivities in Orlando, which included a number of different space-themed sneakers.

Most notably, Nike released the limited edition "Galaxy" Air Foamposite One which became an instant classic as sneakerheads paid thousands of dollars for the kicks on the secondary market.

As the NBA's All-Star weekend turns to Los Angeles in 2018, Nike is reportedly going back to outer space.

According to reports, there's a new galaxy-themed Nike Air Foamposite One in the works, dubbed "Nebula," featuring the familiar starry detailing and “Remove Before Flight” red hang tag, though the colorway is much different than the original pair of Galaxy Foamposites.

The Nebula Foams will reportedly drop in February right around the NBA's All-Star weekend in Los Angeles, though Nike has not yet announced any specific details. Check out official images of the upcoming space-themed Foamposites in the IG post below.
