Knicks offer Tim Hardaway Jr. 4-year $71 million deal.

According to multiple reports, the New York Knicks have signed Tim Hardaway Jr. to a four-year $71 million offer sheet. 71 million American dollars.

Of course, because Hardaway Jr. is a restricted free agent the Atlanta Hawks still have the ability to match that offer, though all signs point to the 25-year old guard returning to the team that drafted him in 2013, and traded him away two seasons ago.

This is the Knicks' first "big" move of the off-season and, naturally, NBA Twitter was waiting to pounce.
