The first returns for the NBA All-Star fan vote have been revealed today and it's LeBron James who leads all players with over one million votes. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has the second most votes overall, followed by Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving. Rounding out the Top 5 are Stephen Curry and Kawhi Leonard.

Then there's Derrick Rose, who has received the sixth most fan votes, and Dallas Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic, who has the second-most votes of any Western Conference frontcourt player, trailing only LeBron James.

The fan vote, which opened on Christmas Day, accounts for 50% of the vote to determine the 10 All-Star starters. Current NBA players and a panel of basketball media each account for 25% of the remaining vote. Every voter will complete one full ballot featuring two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference.

Just like last year, the leading vote-getter from each conference will serve as a captain and will draft their rosters from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves in each conference. Unlike last year, the All-Star draft WILL be televised this season although the draft date has not yet been announced.

Voting for fans, players and media will conclude on January 21. The All Star starters, and captains, will be announced January 24 on TNT. Reserves will be announced on January 31.
