Nav is a semi-anonymous singer and rapper out of Toronto, following in the footsteps of acts like The Weeknd and dvsn before him in keeping a low profile as he lets his music speak first. Like the aforementioned acts, Nav's music is distinctly Toronto, favoring dark, textural production, and understated melodies. His new record, "Ten Toes Down," which comes along with a video that finds Nav once again lurking in the shadows, is one of his most effective tracks yet, digging into one melody throughout, dragging out the second last syllable of each line in a hypnotic flow that's sure to get stuck in your head. He's already earned play on OVO Radio, and has been building a considerable buzz in his city, could he be the next up from Toronto?
