"Myself" is a pretty good representation of NAV as an artist. A slightly brighter, simpler, more light-hearted take on The Weeknd's drug-fuelled late-night tales ("When I'm sober I just don't like who I am/Pour me up a 4 and I'll feel like myself again" is a strikingly similar sentiment to "when I'm fucked up/that's the real me," though it's delivered in a decidedly more playful cadence).

This is the formula much of the rapper and singer's self-titled debut follows, and the video for "Myself" hammers home the themes found throughout. Trippy, mirroring filters and purpley hues set the party-life atmosphere right, and before you know it, pills are falling from the sky in a torrential downpour.

Stream NAV's self-titled album here and look out for his upcoming collaborative project with Metro Boomin.
