As if his new documentary wasn’t enough to be excited about, Nas fans can now look forward to hearing new music from the legendary Queens emcee "very soon".

On Tuesday afternoon, Nas made his way over to the Angie Martinez Show to promote his upcoming documentary Time Is Illmatic, and while there he ended up revealing some exciting news regarding upcoming music. When Angie asked Nas when his new material would arrive, Nas responded, “Real soon.”

Then Angie was adamant for a date so she asked him if it would be here by next week, which Nas then replied "Maybe sooner…maybe tomorrow."

This exciting news comes only a couple weeks after hearing Nas' remix to Schoolboy Q's smash hit "Studio". Aside from that freestyle, Nas has been busy in the studio working on the follow-up to his 2012 album Life Is Good. But wait, that's not all though, the man is also working on his newly launched Mass Appeal Records upcoming project, Lost Tapes 2, which serves as a sequel to his 2002 collection of unreleased music.

As nice as all this sounds, lets keep our fingers crossed that Nas stays true to his word and delivers new music within the week, hopefully today.

Watch the interview below, and fast forward to 07:40 mark for the new music announcement.
