Na'Kia Crawford's suspected killer has been identified as Adarus Black, a 17-year-old boy. Black has not yet been arrested.
A press conference was held today to identify the suspects involved in the murder of 18-year-old Na'Kia Crawford. Adarus Black is suspected of firing the shots that killed the recent high school graduate while she was in the car with her grandmother.
Two others, 18-year-old Jaion Bivins and 24-year-old Janisha George, were also named. They are expected to turn themselves in.
Bivins is facing charges of obstruction and tampering with evidence. George is facing a charge of obstruction of justice.

The Black Camaro that was used in the shooting has been recovered by Akron police and is being looked at for evidence.
There is currently no indication that the shooter actually knew Na'Kia Crawford. This may have been a case of mistaken identity or, as the Police Chief Deputy said, she was in the "wrong place at the wrong time."
The three suspects were identified from the security footage, which also led the cops to find the car that was abandoned.
Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan issued the following statement: "Na’Kia Crawford was a young woman who deserved a life and a future. She was a recent high school graduate, preparing to start the next chapter of her story at Central State University. Her senseless murder is devastating, not only to her family and friends, but to the entire Akron community."
