In his latest video for the track "Simple Things" we follow Musiq Soulchild as he takes his girl out on the town for some luxury shopping. The entire time she seems to under-appreciate the gesture he's making and they can't stop fighting.
When he finally gets home to be with his daughter he realizes the triviality of material things, and notices it's the simple things in life that he really appreciates, like spending time with his baby girl. Indeed it's this realization that causes him to break up with his lover and move on.
