Muhammad Ali Jr. is looking into suing the U.S. Treasury and Homeland Security over an incident in which he was detained at a Florida airport for hours, allegedly because he's Muslim.

Ali Jr.'s spokesman Chris Mancini told TMZ, the 44-year old son of Muhammad Ali was stopped by immigrations officers at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after a trip to Jamaica with his mother on February 7th, just days after a federal judge repealed President Trump's immigration ban.

Khalilah Ali, Ali's first wife, got through but Jr. was detained in a small room for two hours and questioned. He claims the officers asked him twice if he was Muslim and where he got his name, all the while his mother had no idea where was.

He believes this points to a larger issue of profiling and discrimination and is now interested in filing a lawsuit as a class action.
