Sacramento-bred emcee Mozzy dropped off his Spiritual Conversations EP in March, packaging a six-song track list to narrate a stream of consciousness in which the rapper put his most transparent thoughts on wax.
One of the more introspective looks on the effort arrived by way of the “In My Prayers (Intro)” track as he recites lines on the highs and lows that accompany growing fame. On one end he meditates on the possibility of going to school and making his mother proud as she doesn’t care too much for his career in music while noting the luxe of Dolce and Gabbana that comes with such a lifestyle on the other.
Now, he returns with a new clip to pair with the track as he hops in front of the camera to recite lines like, “We from a place they don't play by the rules/You gotta stay by a tool/Much rather spend my day in the shoe/Versus the whole gangland and the Su.”
