Mozzy recently pledged to rediscover himself as a lean-free man, a move that sparked inspiration amidst the youngblood and elder statesman alike. Days removed from penning a powerful open letter on his journey through addiction and withdrawal, the prolific California rapper has emerged with an announcement, doubtless to please fans. It appears that Mozzy's new lease on life has sparked a productive streak; not only has he announced a new EP called Spiritual Conversations on March 2nd, but he also announced his upcoming full-length, the tongue-twisting Gangland Landlord.

Unfortunately, the album has yet to land an official release date, but it is slated to follow-up the late-winter EP. Both projects shall be released via his imprint Empire; founder and CEO Ghazi Shami recently hit the rapper with a glowing endorsement, telling XXL "when I hear a Mozzy record, it reminds me why I fell in love with rap music." Shami isn't the only one singing Mozzy's praises of late - Black Panther collaborator Kendrick Lamar gave him a shout out at the Grammy Awards, which prompted a flattered response from the 1 Up Top AHK emcee.

Sometimes, it feels like a rapper is destined for a fairy-tale run. It seems like the time is now for Mozzy, who seems ready to barrage listeners with music until he can no longer be denied. You can hear his latest  effort on Kendrick Lamar's Black Panther: The Album, where he appeared on "Seasons."
