Atlanta's Money Makin Nique has had a really impressive run of tracks in the last few weeks, sharing the Reese-assisted "SWV" and a freestyle over Drake's "10 Bands," but his latest might be the best of the bunch. "My Side" features Two-9 and Retro$ushi member Jace, and was produced by the inimitable Hit-Boy.
Over some baroque string flourishes, Jace completely bodies the first verse, "imagining images of Imhotep," picking up girls by quoting Oscar Wilde and calling his bars "a hearse to whoever hear it first." Nique carries the last two-thirds, and among other things, comes through with a pretty unique description of road head: "she blow the dick while I'm bein' a motorist." Good stuff.
End scene-- director's cut, direct the smut then shake it
I'm quotin' Oscar Wilde to make her smile then get her naked
I'm fabulously faded, and payments from the majors
Make me easy to relate to, relatively easy paper
