Mod Sun & G-Eazy band together for "Goddess".

As Kanye West said in his Zane Lowe interview, "Fusion Is The Future", and Mod Sun seems to be following that sentiment closely. The singer gave us the "Howlin' At The Moon" video last week, which mixed hip hop beats with a soaring pop hook, and today he's shared a new record that's built off of a reggae groove.

The "run away with you" hook is delivered with almost an Ezra Koenig-esque cadence, and the guitar noodling is similarly reminiscent of Vampire Weekend, but the delivery is a much looser, and more fun-loving concoction. Mod Sun's debut album, Look Up, drops next week. It can be purchased on iTunes now.

Quotable Lyrics:
And as bad as she is, she can't be basic
Or at least I can't imagine she is
She's a goddess I swear
Other women only see the way I'm living
There's no honesty there
