I just recently got into a Missy Elliott binge, which consists of listening to every single Missy album. Missy was is so dope, and she was so far ahead of her time sonically. So for Throwback Thursday today we're featuring one of Missy's singles from her debut album Supa Dupa Fly, and perhaps this will incite you to go on a Missy binge too. "Sock It 2 Me" featuring Da Brat was released in 1997 as the album's second single, and of course, it was produced by Timbaland. How crazy was this music video too? But the again, all of Missy Elliott's visuals were just as futuristic and creative as the music itself.
