Missy Elliott will soon be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame and now she has another milestone moment coming up since she will be honoured with a prestigious doctorate from Berklee College of Music. Missy joins Justin Timberlake and conductor Alex Lacamoire who will also be honoured with the great achievement.
The event will take place May 11th at Boston University’s 7,000-seat Agganis Arena where Berklee President Roger H. Brown will present the trio with their award, recognizing their “achievements and influences in music and for their enduring global impact.”
"Being honored in this way by my alma mater means the world to me, you guys. I’m over the moon with joy and I’m psyched to be grouped with these legends! See y’all in May," Alex wrote on Twitter.
