Friday, Nashville’s Mike Floss debuted his track “Take Yours.”
Produced by the production duo consisting of Ducko McFli and SYK Sense (see: Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Migos), “Take Yours” is an energetic piece that definitely flexes the versatility of Hip-Hop.
"I pulled up on SYK Sense to work on the album and ‘Take Yours’ was the first track we made,” Mike says of the track. “The beat wasn't even created yet, I just heard him scroll across these crazy horns and I started screaming the melodies into the mic. Syk instantly caught the vibe and started crafting the skeleton to the beat, we knew it was special."
“After that,” he continues. “I shot the reference over to Ducko and asked him to lay some aggressive drums. When he sent what he created back, I had an imaginary mosh pit in my room, jumping around everywhere flipping out. It's the most 'in your face song' I've made yet."
