Bad news for Travis Scott fans: it appears that Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight will not come Friday, August 26th as scheduled.

The album release the hands of Scott's close collaborator Mike Dean, who is currently mixing the project and announced that he would have the final say on when it is complete. "I'm still mixing this album not letting Travis drop until I'm done," he wrote on Twitter.

BITTSM has already experienced multiple delays; it was originally scheduled for an August 5th release until Scott pushed it back to the 26th at the last minute. Earlier this week, Scott cancelled tour dates in Europe, and some speculated that his reason was to finish the album. If we are to take Dean's word, Scott is not involved in this stage of the process and must wait along with the rest of us until it is ready.

"It's almost here," Dean said.
