Miguel's War & Lesiure hit shelves and speakers on December 1, and now the numbers of the first week of sales for the crooner's fourth studio album are in, and they're promising.
Initially, the project was expected to move 30,000 to 35,000 equivalent album units, and now as the album enters the Billboard Hot 200 Album charts at a solid slot at No. 9, War & Lesiure has moved the equivalent of 40,000 units, with 16,000 of those being pure album sales, compared to the 11,000 to 14,000 range it was projected to do.
Currently, Miguel is readying himself to embark on a headlining tour of the same name. His first two dates are set to take place this week on Decmeber 12th and 13th before the rest of the trek picks back up in February of 2018.
