Migos have been incredibly busy for the past few years. The success of Culture helped them land a prominent placement on the festival circuit which continued this year following Culture II. The group has essentially been booked for the majority of major festivals in North America and Europe. Unfortunately, they have a slight reputation for their tardiness on stage. There's been several occasions where they were incredibly late for their set but managed to compensate with high-energy performances. Unfortunately for fans in Vancouver, Canada, the group weren't late; they cancelled their set completely mere moments before showtime.
Migos were scheduled to headline Vancouver's Breakout Festival last night but unfortunately, cancelled 20 minutes before hitting the stage. The festival made the announcement just ahead of their performance on Instagram and replaced the Atlanta trio with Lil Pump.
"For reasons beyond our control Migos didn’t make it to Vancouver tonight." The caption read, "From Migos “We love Vancouver and really wanted to make it to BREAKOUT Festival tonight. We hope you continue to support this festival. We’ll make it up to y’all soon.”
According to Narcity, concertgoers were demanding for a refund to the festival. The festival reportedly only made the announcement on Instagram and didn't even make an announcement on the stage itself. However, Migos weren't the only acts that cancelled their sets at the performance. Kodie Shane and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie ended up cancelling their sets as well.
