Surprise from the Migos! Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset are dropping a new EP tonight.
UPDATE: Migos hath revealed the title of their new EP: 3 Way. It's dropping at 9PM EST tonight on Migos' SoundCloud. Check back with us in a couple of hours for the stream. This is surely the best 3 Way that's available on a Thursday night.
The Migos are finally ready to drop the follow-up to their January YRN 2 mixtape. In late April, the trio had announced its plans to release another tape -- No Label 3 -- and they soon shared the Honorable C-Note-produced "Say Sum." The next month, they released "Say Sum" as a single, gave the song a music video, and also dropped another single, "Cocoon," which got its own video shortly after being released. Earlier today, Migos surprised fans by announcing that they're dropping something later tonight -- not No Label 3, but a new EP. Though the difference between an EP and a mixtape isn't always clear these days, it's assumed that tonight's EP will be a commercial release.
Aside from "Say Sum" or "Cocoon," it's unknown what else the Migos could have planned for the EP. The group recently revealed that they've recorded "multiple songs" with Kanye West. Hopefully one of those makes the final cut. If tonight's release can equal the quality of YRN 2, then fans of the most influential group in hip-hop should be in for a special treat.
