Metro Boomin is wise beyond his years. Not only has the young producer solidified himself as one of the new generation's greatest beatmakers, but he has also secured the trust of some of trap music's most prominent voices. Gucci Mane, Offset, and 21 Savage have all excelled under Metro's guidance, and while his absence from the game was noted, Not All Heroes Wear Capes marked a welcome return to the fold.
Now, it would appear that Metro has once again linked up with 21 Savage, with whom he collaborated on Savage Mode, "Bank Account," and most recently, the standout "Don't Come Out The House." While the pair is clearly holed up in the studio, they seem to be enjoying some well-earned downtime, likely listening back to some of the day's work. It stands to reason that Metro and 21 have been collaborating on 21's upcoming album, which is set to arrive later this year.
Metro took a moment to dole out some IG wisdom, dropping a gem on his competitors. "N***s broke kuz they doin too much clubbing," he writes, alluding to a "hard workers shall prosper" mentality. Clearly, such a mindset has worked wonders for the prolific young producer, who at 25, has proven himself a mainstay. Respect to the duo, and perhaps there's a lesson to be learned. In short, why club when you can work?
